About Luis
I have a bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting from the University of Valladolid (Spain): I had English as a first foreign language and German as a second. In addition to language translation and interpreting, the degree also includes training in linguistics, international relations, terminology, etc. I have been working as a foreign language assistant in a secondary school in Essen since September. That's why I have experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. In addition, I gave English lessons and tutoring in Spain for a year.

I conduct a communicative and participative teaching method. It is important for me that the students trust the teacher and are not ashamed of making mistakes, because it is perfectly normal to learn a foreign language. Unfortunately, foreign languages are often taught only in writing and students have problems with oral expression. That's why I want to help my students to trust them with communicative skills. However, grammar and theory are also essential. It is also important that students understand and write texts correctly. Of course, the student can choose what kind of activities he / she wants to improve.
