About Anabela
Dance helps us express emotions, faith, culture, experiences, passions, etc. For me, dance is an escape from reality and allows me to be my true self!
In my over 15 years experience, I have had the honor of training with world-renown professionals and dancing alongside some of the most talented artists in the industry. I have danced on both coasts and performed from solos to large line productions.
While my favorite genres are contemporary and hip-hop, I have been professionally trained in ballet and several styles of jazz, including jazz funk, musical theater, Fosse, classical, and street.
I have choreography experience ranging from award-placing solos to dance team halftime shows.
I would love the opportunity to share my passion for dance with you and help you unlock YOUR own potential and express who YOU truly are!

Highly-skilled, professional-level dancer trained in several genres for 15+ yrs. Kind, patient, and gentle approach to instruction and assessment. Genres taught: ballet, jazz +, hip-hop, contemporary
Lesson Approach:
-A discussion at the start of the first class will be about personal dance goals, style preferences, and previous training (if any) or ability.
-All lessons begin with a warm-up and a deep stretch according to each dancer's individual ability (15 min)
-Technique (across-the-floor, center, barre) (20-30 min) and/or
-Combination to practice technique, clarity, musicality, mastering movement/craft within one's own body (30-40 min)
*Lesson length and content individually customized to each dancer.

Details
Hourly rate is based on a lesson in technique with the opportunity to learn a small combo.
Solo choreography is available upon request (rates vary $300-$600 based on level and length)
