About Kaitlyn

Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm absolutely passionate about dance. My journey began back in 2019 when I dove headfirst into the dance community by joining the junior team, Riot Squad, over at Soundbox Studios. Shortly after, I went on to join their adult division, Galing. Along the way, I've had the incredible opportunity to train with phenomenal teachers at Garage713 Studios and slowly began my teaching journey. Soon after, I was recruited as an Advanced teacher at Soreal Dance Studios and later returned to Soundbox Studios, this time as a Beginners teacher. My specialties? Hip hop, choreography, and honing movement quality. Teaching has taken me to different cities like Houston, El Paso, Austin, and Dallas, where I've led classes, teams, and workshops.

I strongly believe that great teachers are great students first. That's why I've taken initiative to travel to LA and New York to soak up diverse styles and techniques. You might've even spotted me at conventions like Kaos, Monsters, Flip the Switch, or programs like Exchange, Motus, 36 Chambers, Troupe, and The Room. From teaching one-on-one privates to large groups, I'm all about spreading the love for dance and helping others find their own beat. Let's dance together!
