About Amy

I am a primary teacher with 2 years experience teaching in a variety of schools. I have a History degree from Loughborough University and completed my PGCE teaching qualification at the University of Nottingham.

I have four A levels in History, English Literature, Psychology and Sociology (Grades AABB). In addition to primary tutoring I am also able to offer tutoring in History (to degree level) and stress management strategies and advice surrounding examinations and coursework.

About the lesson

I am patient and motivated, I enjoy supporting others in their educational journey. I believe that having a positive mindset and approach towards education ensures not only success but also educational enjoyment.

I have completed many exams, written numerous essays and dissertations within the last 5 years. Also within this time I have been teaching classes of pupils and advising them on the best approach towards success in education. I believe everyone should work to the best of their ability and at their own pace. I simultaneously plan for and support 30 pupils in class on a daily basis of varying attainment therefore I am easily able to tailor a 1:1 tutoring session to your exact needs or priorities.

Details

I am willing to travel a 20-25 minute drive from Northwood. I am available Monday-Friday 4.30-8pm and weekends 8am-12pm. I am flexible with whether the tutoring sessions are online or in person.

Cancellation - Weekdays I must be notified latest the morning of the session and weekends the evening before.
