About Thiloshna

I Thiloshna Naidoo am a professional teacher and enthusiastic about my job and lessons and I encourage students to share the same passion as I do. I am seeking to instill a culture of teaching English to foreign students as I have had about 80% of foreign students in my class. I have extensive experience working with children aged from 6 to 9 years

I have the ability to lead and guide my classroom and I can manage a number of different personalities, including misbehaving children, and steer them into the right direction.
I lead by example and am an important role model in my students’ lives and I set a respectful tone in my classroom and students feel safe to share their personal values and opinions with me.

I Thiloshna Naidoo creates a conducive environment for learning through interaction with my students.
I teach and mark students' work but also monitor their behavior. I plan lessons for the following week and constantly monitor the previous days learnings & lessons through recapping. I also create tests and mark tests as well as assignments to evaluate the learning from the lessons.

I Thiloshna Naidoo possesses and displays great instructive skills, and the ability to explain and demonstrate concepts that are not easy to understand or grasp by creative and simplifying by using memorable examples or props.

I have remarkable communication skills and I am able to interact with people of all ages, including colleagues, pupils, parents, and managers.

About the lesson

I have been a classroom teacher for the past 9 years in various capacities as a Home Room Teacher and taught grade 1,2 & 3,4 levels. In each class that I have taught, 100% of my students passed their exams and improved their scores comparatively.
I enjoy the challenge of teaching and engaging students academically but also helping them to thrive socially.
I employ various methodology to bring the subject matter across and to make learning exciting and simple
