About Eleanor

I am an economist working in Sydney with a masters and a bachelor's of Economics from the ANU. I previously tutored first and second year students at the ANU in macro- and microeconomics and was voted as one of the top tutors in 2018 in the RSE.

At ANU I also studied development economics, current economic policy issues, and applied econometrics.

About the lesson

I base my classes on the course content and requirements of whichever courses you are taking and am more than happy to work with you on choosing areas of focus. I adjust my sessions to reflect student need if a particular concept or theory requires additional attention. I use worked examples to ensure student understanding and will work through problem sets with students to guarantee comprehension of the concepts and ideas.

Perfect! Eleanor is an excellent tutor. Economics is not my strong suit, and yet she explained the content in terms I could understand whilst making it so interesting. I achieved grades I didn't think I could with her help. I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
