About Alivia
Ballet is difficult, but the more you put into it, the more you get out. I am a firm believer in conditioning the body to strengthen very specific muscles that are vital as a ballet dancer. I’ve been taking Progressing Ballet Technique, pilates and yoga for many years, and the difference I noticed in my dancing was immense. I would love to apply the things I’ve learned in my teaching! And above all, ballet is supposed to be fun. It is so good for you and your mental health, and being able to have artistry in control is the most rewarding experience.

Hi! My name is Alivia and I used to be a pre-professional ballet dancer before going to college. I began pointe work at a young age, and I am super passionate about it. I choreographed many pieces for my studio, as well as assisted for ballet camps in the summer. I studied at the Sarasota Ballet company for a summer, and did the pre-professional program at my studio for 5 years. I would be thrilled to teach you!
