About Emily
My first job was working with children at a gymnasium center. From there on I realized I had an excellent skill at helping and teaching others. I am an organization freak and love to color code, use sticky notes, planners etc... I am currently studying to become a nurse so I am very aware of the time and effort that it takes. I want to help students feel comfortable with their school work.

As a tutor I like to begin with understanding the students way of learning and studying. From there I will give them tips on what works and what doesn't. I typically will make a study guide for the student and ask them to read through it and attempt to annotate it. I specialize in English from grades 2nd though 12th grade. I am also good in the science area for those grade levels as well. History is another subject that I can give good memorization skills in.
