About James
I'm an award-winning filmmaker and stop motion animator and received my BFA at Pratt Institute. My film Kid Nature, was awarded a National Board of Review Student Grant, and "Best Short" at the Short Shorts Film Festival! Right now, I teach 1st and 2nd graders stop motion animation, and I pride myself on having a fun, caring, and constructive classroom. I'm proficient in software on the computer like Dragonframe, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Final Draft, as well as the more beginner-friendly phone apps like Capcut, iMovie, and Stop Motion Studio. I'm a huge fan of any kind of exciting and comedic story, and some of my favorite films are Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Lego Movie, and Everything Everywhere All at Once.
