About Sophie
I’m a practicing multidisciplinary fine artist and graduate from Wimbledon College of Arts.
My passion for teaching comes from my own personal struggles as a student. I am aware how each individual is different, and learns in different ways. Having this experience myself I’m particularly adept and intuitive at understanding what my own students needs are.
My lessons harness the strength of my students whilst still challenging you to push outside of your comfort zone.
I have 10 years of experience with a multitude of traditional techniques: oil and acrylic painting, charcoal and pencil drawing, etching, linocut, woodcut and mono printing.

My lessons are tailored to each student, our first free lesson will give us a chance to discuss which areas you wish to learn or develop.
Lessons range from 1 - 2 hours but can be longer on request.
Previous experience teaching under 16s but can assist all ages.
Particular expertise of figurative drawing, painting and printmaking.
Can additionally assist with building your portfolio to strengthen further education applications.
