I have known Donna P. as key figure in the Artistic community in Portsmouth and also has a significant presence in London.

Exhibiting as part of the WOMEN IN ARTS exhibition at The Aspex Gallery and her Solo Show at The Corner Collective Gallery.

She is an excellent support to others, is passionate about her own work and is a joy to work with (she has, been an artist that has taken part in POSE (Portsmouth Open Studios Event produced and delivered by City Arts Portsmouth) in which, she has also been part of the consultation and feedback process.

Donna also works as a community artist where she is able to use her life experience to make strong connections with those she works with. She has a meaningful understanding of the obstacles that can prevent access to the arts and is able to implement strategies that turn these obstacles into the drivers for creating work. In short Donna is a gift to everyone she comes into contact with and enhances their experience of the arts and their place within them.

I have been lucky enough to collaborate with Donna on a number of creative projects and can't recommend her enough. Donna has hosted engaging and impactful art based workshops to community groups, co-created and curated exhibitions celebrating women in art and co-created Art Aunties, a nurturing community for women artists to grow their skills and confidence. Donna's approach to her work is inspiring and she brings a sense of joy and enthusiasm to every project.
