About Howard

My programming lessons are structured around small, real projects rather than isolated syntax drills, since a loop or function is remembered far better when it controls something the student actually built. Debugging is treated as a core skill from day one, taught calmly rather than as a source of panic. Sessions mix short explanations with immediate hands on coding practice every few minutes, since long verbal instruction tends to lose focus quickly. I keep a running error log for every student, reviewing recurring mistakes until they stop appearing. Advanced students work on real coursework style projects with attention to clean, readable code.
