My ultimate goal is to make you not just a stronger chess player, but a sharper thinker. With the right training, you’ll be ready for both the chessboard and challenges beyond it.

About the lesson

My chess teaching approach combines daily tactical training with a deep dive into strategic principles. We begin each lesson with targeted puzzles to sharpen calculation skills and pattern recognition. From there, we move into strategic themes—pawn structures, weak squares, and piece coordination. I believe tactics win games, but strategy prevents you from losing them. You’ll learn how to recognize when to switch from building a plan to striking tactically. I tailor examples to your playing level, ensuring every exercise is challenging but achievable. We also analyze famous games to see how top players blend tactics and strategy seamlessly. Endgame study reinforces your ability to finish games confidently. I emphasize practical play, where you apply what you’ve learned in real situations. Time management is integrated into training, so you can keep a cool head in both rapid and classical formats. You’ll also learn how to adapt your style against different types of opponents. Over time, this approach builds a well-rounded skill set and consistent results. My aim is to give you the tools to think like a master in any position.
