About Lin

With 13 years of experience in teaching and working with music students, I am dedicated to helping school and college learners discover the joy of singing. My journey as a music educator started from my deep love for music and my desire to share that passion with others.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students with different skill levels. Many of them began as beginners who were unsure about their voices, but with consistent practice and guidance, they developed confidence and strong singing abilities. Watching students grow and perform with pride is one of the most fulfilling parts of being a tutor.

I focus on teaching the fundamentals of singing such as voice training, breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, and rhythm. These skills help students build a strong musical foundation. I also believe that learning music should be enjoyable, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.

In addition to technical skills, I encourage students to connect emotionally with the music they sing. Understanding the meaning and feeling behind a song can greatly improve performance and confidence.

My goal as a tutor is not only to teach singing but also to inspire students to appreciate music, develop discipline, and believe in their abilities.

About the lesson

My teaching style for singing focuses on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and efficient time management. I believe that every voice is special and can improve with the right guidance and practice.

I start by helping students develop good vocal habits such as proper breathing, voice control, and pitch accuracy.

These fundamentals help build confidence and improve singing ability. Flexibility allows me to change my teaching approach depending on the student’s progress and comfort level.

Creativity is encouraged in my lessons because singing is an art that requires expression and emotion. I guide students to connect with the lyrics and perform songs with feeling and confidence. I also take time to understand the difficulties students face and provide clear explanations and supportive feedback.

Each lesson is carefully planned so that time is used productively for warm-ups, technique practice, and song learning. Besides singing, I can also teach related topics such as rhythm, music appreciation, and performance skills.
