About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, meaning I tailor my teaching style and techniques to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I believe that active learning is the most effective way to learn, so I encourage my students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and collaborate with me in problem-solving activities. I also use visual aids, such as diagrams, charts, and graphs, to help students understand complex concepts and information.
Typical length of a lesson: The length of a lesson depends on the student's needs and preferences. Typically, my lessons range from 1-2 hours per session, but I am flexible and can adjust the length of a lesson to suit the student's schedule and attention span.
I am a graduate of Brunel University with a degree in Environmental Science and an offer holder from Imperial College, one of the top universities in the world for environmental science research. During my time at Brunel, I was a Peer-assisted learning leader and Senior Peer-assisted learning leader for 2 years.
My lessons are for students of all ages and levels who are interested in environmental science. However, I prefer to teach A-levels and University level, particularly first and second year students. I am comfortable working with students who are just beginning their studies in environmental science, as well as those who need help with advanced concepts and coursework. My goal is to help students achieve their academic and personal goals and build their confidence in their ability to succeed in their studies.
