I am a composer, studying for a Masters’ Degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. I am an experienced teacher of music theory, composition and violin, having taught both children and adults. As a composer, I have had works performed by professionals, students and amateurs.

I care about fostering a passionate and keen interest in the mechanics of music, which my students can use to bolster their enjoyment of music as performers or as composers. I bring my deep personal knowledge and experience to tuition and I am keen to hear about my students’ personal musical passions in order to work with their own interests while I am teaching them.
I am happy to teach to ABRSM theory exams or to offer support with GCSE and A Level music.
