About Clive Angelo
I am a teacher by profession, and have been teaching art (practical and history of art) for the past 15 years in both secondary and high school. While I have knowledge about the arts I am also able to teach various other subjects such as customer care and events management due to my experience working in different cultural and educational sectors through non-profit organisations. While I am meticulous and serious about my work, I enjoy communicating and socialising with people, therefore I find it important to understand the people I am dealing with, to make sure that they have a positive learning experience.

My classes are hands-on classes where students are invited to participate and communicate their knowledge with reference to the history of art, therefore we take the communicative approach rather than the passive approach where the tutor is constantly lecturing to the class. The lessons provided in history of art aim at tutoring the student on how to develop a critical and comparative analysis of works of art, a synoptic essay and as well puts western art history in context with the art period being tutored. The periods covered are: Pre-history Mesopotamian/Egyptian Period Greek periods (Geometric, Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic) Roman Period Byzantine Medieval Period (Romanesque and Gothic) Proto, and Late Renaissance Mannerism Baroque Rococo Romanticism Neo-classicism Modern Art An analysis of an artwork is also carried throughout each period.
