About Julieta

I am a native Portuguese speaker and I have 20 years of experience teaching Portuguese in London, working as a freelance and for some languages companies.

During the last years, I have developed my teaching skills in different education fields. I have experience teaching children and adults, both in Schools and in private lessons. I build lesson plans to what suits you best. Focused on Speaking Skill.

I am very patient, make classes fun and exciting. I based my classes on conversation. I stimulate conversations and debates that will help the student to travel around or to talk to a portuguese language native. Also, I teach the vocabulary, writing and learning comprehension.

I am flexible to the students’ needs and open to all ages and levels: having experience with one-to-one and group lessons; beginners, intermediate, advanced and proficiency levels, present tuition and online tuition via Skype; teaching children from the age of 2; general training and Portuguese for business purposes.

I prepare specific material for each student depending on the knowledge, the goals or their personal interests. On the other hand, if you want just improve your speaking we can work it through conversations about articles, news or other materials of your interest.
