About Raka

I am a teacher, author and coach by passion and profession. I love learning and teaching new languages. I speak 7 languages and learning more... In the last decade, I have solely invested myself into developing innovative methods of teaching Portuguese language for all ages. In these years, I also developed a lot of course materials in Portuguese language suited to the Indian students. I finally compiled all of them into my book Brazilian Portuguese: From Beginner to Advance" which is a bestseller on Amazon. It is the one and only book published by an Indian author in Portuguese. I have a passion for Portuguese language and the Brazilian culture. I wish to impart my knowledge and research to my students and continue the legacy of learning and wanting to learn more.

About the lesson

Innovative, Interactive and Immersive - I follow the 3 I's in teaching Portuguese. I believe that learning a language involves bringing the language into use in your day-to-day life. This involves not only learning but also thinking in the new language. This helps you immerse into the language and you learn it in no time. In my classes, the teacher takes the burden. You only have fun while you learn. I strive to spread awareness of the Portuguese language as to how quick and easy it is to learn and the whopping job opportunities waiting out there. I teach Portuguese with a business-orientation where you prepare yourself to build a reputable and lucrative career. With 15+ years of experience in teaching Portuguese, I understand the nuances, uses and expectations of this language. I teach you how to speak and use the language like a native. This helps you build international networks. I am on a mission to prepare 100,000 + Portuguese language experts so that India can meet its ever-growing demand of highly-paid Portuguese language experts in the Government sector, MNC's, Media, Travel, Hospitality and many more.
