I am currently a second year student at the University of Pretoria studying Poltical Sciences. I have been tutoring since Grade 8 in high school in the areas on English and Afrikaans and German on a beginner level, but have received my DSD certificate in the language

When tutoring, I like to focus on the main problem areas each student is faced with , whether it be grammar, vocabulary, concord, poetry etc. In each area I approach the learning difficulty by breaking it down into the simplest form so that students are able to grasp the basics, and thereafter I expand on these building blocks, for instance with basic concord, I would turn the rules into little English "sum structures" such as ( subject + verb + object) which gives the student a good grasp on the actual structure of sentences. Same applies to all other areas of English learning outcomes
