About Abigail
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 14 years of experience and over 350 students taught. I specialise in teaching high school and college students, helping them develop technical ability, creativity, and confidence.
My lessons are designed to be interactive, fun, and practical, allowing students to enjoy learning while making steady progress. One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been guiding students to perform at college events and competitions, watching their skills and confidence grow.
I focus on nurturing musical expression, discipline, and self-belief, aiming to inspire every student to develop a lifelong love for Guitar and music.

My teaching methodology for guitar focuses on clarity, discipline, and creative growth. I use communication to explain chords, finger techniques, strumming patterns, and scales in a simple and clear way. This helps students learn correctly and confidently.
I emphasise accountability by helping students set goals and follow consistent practice routines. Regular practice and feedback help students improve steadily. Integrity is a key part of my teaching. I ensure students learn proper posture, correct techniques, and strong musical fundamentals for long-term success.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level, pace, and musical interests. I include exercises, rhythm practice, and song learning to make lessons enjoyable and effective. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and songwriting to provide a complete musical foundation.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and structured. I help students build confidence, strong guitar skills, and a lifelong love for music.
