About Chris

I was originally trained as an actor and have, among other things, also worked professionally as a producer, sound engineer, DJ, musician and speaker.

Since 2007, I have primarily worked in podcasting, storytelling and content creation - both in Denmark and internationally.
I have given lectures on podcasting for companies , helped podcasts get started, produced and cut podcasts for various clients, restored old tape-recorded interviews up to a sound quality the modern podcast listener can accept, taught students up to a level that have made several of them choose to start teaching now - and in general enjoyed being a small part of this amazing medias development.

About the lesson

The teaching will be tailored to your specific needs.
Therefore, it does not matter if you are a beginner or already have several podcasts under your belt.

A typical course of study will start with us uncovering your expectations, needs and goals.

Then I plan a flexible teaching course, with a focus on affordable sub-goals. In this way, I make sure that you are constantly challenged, in development and can enjoy the feeling of success with each fulfilled sub-goal.

Of topics that will often be covered (depending on your needs and desires) can mention:

- Build your podcast (format, target audience, etc.)
- Which equipment is suitable for your type of podcast
- Editing
- Postproduction
- Options of host
- Optimal utilization of your content across platforms.
- Measure the effect of your podcast & personal branding.
- Microphone technique
- Diction, breathing and voice technique (no more tired and hoarse voices ).
- The importance of stylistic and artistic choices.

And the list goes on ...

I can easily help you solve an acute problem in one or a few lessons - but my core competency is without a doubt the slightly longer teaching sessions, where you really grow as a podcaster.

As a teacher, I prefer a relaxed and informal atmosphere where there is room to have fun while learning, space to make mistakes (and learn from them), space to ask all the questions you need - and last but not not least - space to celebrate all obstacles you overcome (big and small) and to be proud of it.
