About Mohamed Fadel

Assalamualaikum,

Have you started learning Arabic more than once?

Many students tell me they get stuck repeating the same beginner lessons — alphabet, numbers, and basic greetings — without real progress.

In my lessons, every 50 minutes is designed to move you forward. You will gain new knowledge, reach small clear goals, and feel real improvement lesson by lesson.

You don’t need to start over.

You need to continue, with the right guidance.

  • Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

I've spoken Arabic since I was a child, and I've spent a quarter of a century in a country where the language is spoken, from cartoons to school and university. In addition, my mother was an Arabic teacher as well.
  • Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

I have no doubt that Al-Jahiz lit 'the bug eyed' from the 8 th century, during the Abbasid Empire can represent the power of this beautiful language!
  • Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

The Arabic language has a deep human warmth; it calls the blind person “the seer” out of respect for his feelings, it calls the person who has been bitten “the healthy one” in hope of his recovery, and it calls the group of travelers “the caravan” in hope of their return.
  • Why does speaking this language matter to you?

Speaking Arabic connects me to the most important book on earth, the Holy Quran, the eternal divine message for every human being.
  • What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

Grammar is perhaps the most difficult part of the Arabic language, along with verb conjugation. What helps overcome these difficulties is learning the language in context through mini-stories, rather than learning each difficulty alone.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

I remember when I was learning French in middle school in Algeria around 2007, I suffered a lot with conjugating verbs in French, especially irregular ones, and the teacher (Mr. Khaldi) told us that the solution with conjugating verbs in French was to memorize them and then memorize them, there is no magic solution! At the end, his advice was really in the right place!
  • How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

Travel inspires me a lot, especially with regard to learning foreign languages. My travels to some Mega Cities like Kuala Lumpur, znd some historical cities like Malé, in the Maldives, have motivated me to continue practicing languages I had started and to start learning new languages I had never learned them before.
  • What makes you a Superprof in language?

What makes me a Super Tutor is that I follow the student's desires, and I do not force him to learn what he does not want to learn.
