About Kathleen
Rhythm is the heartbeat of any great track and should always come before theory. I focus on practical applications for advanced learners, working professionals, and self-taught players who need real structure. My sessions rely on my formal BM Contemporary Music training to break down complex electric techniques into manageable steps.
You will find that mastering scales and songwriting becomes natural when you understand the groove first. I provide a free trial session to assess your starting level and find your unique sound. We focus on what feels good to play. It is genuinely fun to see your progress!

The smell of rosin and old wood filled the small Buenos Aires studio where I first picked up a guitar. I earned my BM Contemporary Music from AIM and have spent 13 years playing professionally in the Australian Latin music scene. My hands learned to dance across the strings through decades of live gigs. I specialize in barre chords, rhythm guitar, blues progressions, reading tabs, lead guitar, scales and modes, songwriting, and electric technique.
I bring this technical discipline to every student I coach. I am proud of my heritage. Music is life.
