About Piers
In my first year of A-levels, I was predicted BBC, which, to be completely honest, was generous from my teachers. In the summer of that year, after visiting Edinburgh University, I decided I had to turn things around. I dedicated many weeks towards perfecting my revision notes, and understanding revision technique, stumbling across an excellent book: 'Make it Stick'. This approach allowed me to exceed my target grades, getting A*A*A, despite time constraints, and lack of work in the previous year. I would love to help other students turn around their grades, and prove their teachers wrong!

Replicating how I turned my grades from BBC to A*A*A, before each lesson I would ask you to find your weakest points of the syllabus, and I would then create a 1 hour lesson plan based on this, and using my notes that got me an A*.
