About Maya

With flexibility, I adjust lessons to match each student’s pace, interests, and learning style, making every class meaningful and motivating. I work closely with students, encouraging questions, musical expression, and active participation. This teamwork helps students feel involved and inspired throughout their learning journey. Along with piano, I can also teach music theory, ear training, and composition, giving students a complete musical foundation. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, effective, and empowering for every student.

I am a dedicated and passionate piano tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have guided 300–350 students, helping them build confidence, improve technique, and develop a true connection with music. My approach focuses on making lessons both enjoyable and structured, allowing every student to grow at their own pace while building strong skills in performance, theory, and composition.
Throughout my career, I have celebrated many meaningful milestones. Some of my proudest moments include watching my students perform confidently at school events, music recitals, and competitions. Seeing their hard work turn into real achievements motivates me to keep improving my teaching methods and to continue inspiring students to reach higher levels of musical expression. Each accomplishment, big or small, reflects the dedication we build together in each lesson.
My passion for education drives everything I do. I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore music deeply and express themselves freely.
