I’m a piano tutor with 2 years of teaching experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance. My focus is on helping students reach conservatory-level standards, especially for programs like Berklee, Juilliard, and other top music schools. I specialize in advanced jazz piano, combining deep technical work with creative exploration. My passion is unlocking each student’s full potential—both musically and personally. Whether we’re working on complex voicings, polyrhythms, or improvisational fluency, I guide students with clarity and intention. I believe that a strong technical foundation fuels expressive freedom. My piano teaching approach focuses on making music theory clear, practical, and easy to apply. I believe that theory should not feel like a separate subject—it should be something you can hear and feel at the keyboard. That’s why we explore music theory fundamentals through real playing. Whether you're preparing for exams or aiming to deepen your musical understanding, I tailor lessons to your specific needs. We’ll analyze pieces together, break down chord movement, and explore how harmony shapes emotion in music. I use visual aids, hands-on practice, and simple explanations to build confidence and clarity.
