About Ziya
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and have 8 years of experience teaching piano to students of different ages and levels. My interest in piano began at a young age and grew into a strong passion for both performing and teaching. I believe that learning piano should be enjoyable and encouraging, and I focus on helping students build confidence along with strong technical skills.
I adapt my teaching methods based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided carefully to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving their technique and musical understanding. Advanced students focus on performance skills and deeper interpretation. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving consistently.
Outside of teaching, I continue to practice regularly and explore different styles of music to improve my own skills. This allows me to bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging for students. Helping learners grow in confidence and enjoy playing piano is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work as a teacher.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong technical skills while also developing a clear understanding of music. I focus on finger independence, hand coordination, note reading, rhythm accuracy, scales, and chord progressions so that students can play smoothly and confidently. Lessons include structured exercises, guided practice, and carefully selected pieces that help students improve step by step. I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and growing at their own pace.
Lessons are planned based on each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with note recognition, basic hand positioning, and simple songs to build confidence and coordination. Intermediate learners work on improving technique, dynamics, and expressive playing while expanding their repertoire. Advanced students focus on complex compositions, interpretation, and performance preparation. Each lesson includes guided practice, structured exercises, and detailed feedback to ensure steady progress.
The goal of my piano lessons is to help students become confident and independent musicians who enjoy playing and understanding music. They learn to express themselves through the instrument while building strong technical skills. Lessons are balanced between discipline and creativity, helping students stay motivated and develop long-lasting musical ability.
