About Jinee
I have more than 8 years of experience teaching piano to college students and enjoy guiding them towards musical success. My teaching style is interactive, creative, and student-focused. I emphasise strong fundamentals such as piano technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory.
I use innovative teaching methods like improvisation, modern music arrangements, and creative practice techniques to keep lessons engaging. I also help students build confidence in performance and musical expression. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding for every student.

My piano teaching approach focuses on creativity, critical thinking, and growth. I believe learning piano should be fun, structured, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring favourite songs, trying improvisation, and learning different music styles. Students are guided to express themselves and stay motivated.
As a mentor, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, easy-to-follow steps. Students learn to analyse their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is emphasised through goal setting, regular practice routines, and consistent feedback. This helps students develop discipline, focus, and confidence.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to support complete musical growth.
