About Koteche
Concert pianist and composer/producer. Professional QTS teacher with a wealth of experience teaching in schools in the UK delivering Music from KS1/2 to A level. Helping students overcome barriers to learning. I have been taught at the very best musical institutions around the world from The Royal Academy of Music to the New England Conservatoire in Boston. Privileged to have learned with some of the great modern pianist and artists and bringing that knowledge and experience to my clients. Everyday a new learning opportunity keeps my mind fresh and my approach to every student engaging and focused on them as an individual learner.

Music is one language that has many different dialects. Throughout study all students will be given the tools to self study and progress no matter the standard or age range. Theory is interwoven into the practical element of each individual student’s learning journey appropriate to the styles and genre being studied. Students are encouraged to engage with touch memory and a host of other sensory techniques that support rapid and consistent attainment. Lessons are designed to engage a joy of learning again with music and the history of music the backdrop. Great masters personal lives and the music they created as a result the social and historical contexts of Jazz and the world music that has resulted from cataclysmic changes in demographics are all to be felt and understood. The practical technical movements that result from an effortless styles that encourages relaxation and focus without tension mental of physical. Music is everywhere!

Extremely high quality of teaching, I've been having lessons for around 5 years at this point. Koteche can teach piano to anyone of any ability or age and tailor lessons to what specifically interests you. There is a laid back but professional atmosphere to the lessons which is conducive to great progress with little burn out. I would recommend Koteche to any and all looking for a piano teacher.
