About Kyra
My journey with piano began when I first discovered the joy of playing melodies on a keyboard. I became curious about how music is created and how musicians express emotions through sound. This curiosity encouraged me to study piano more seriously and eventually complete a Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy.
During the past 9 years, I have taught students of different ages and skill levels. Some learners want to explore music for the first time, while others wish to improve their performance technique. My teaching style focuses on clear guidance, patience, and helping students build confidence through gradual progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy practicing piano and exploring various styles of music. Studying different compositions helps me better understand musical interpretation and expression. Helping students discover their musical ability and enjoy learning the piano remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

My piano lessons focus on helping students understand the instrument while developing strong musical foundations. Beginners begin by learning the layout of the keyboard, correct hand position, and basic rhythm exercises. I guide students through simple melodies and note-reading activities that help them become comfortable with the piano. These early lessons build coordination between both hands and introduce the structure of musical patterns.
As students progress, lessons include scales, chords, and more detailed musical pieces. I explain how rhythm, tempo, and dynamics influence musical expression. Students practice reading sheet music while developing stronger finger movement and control. These activities help learners understand how different musical elements work together to create expressive performances.
Learning piano requires patience and regular practice. I encourage students to focus on small improvements and practice consistently between lessons. Over time, learners develop better finger technique and greater confidence while playing music. My goal is to help students enjoy the piano while steadily building their musical ability.
