About Myra
My connection with the piano began at an early age, where I discovered its ability to express emotion, structure, and creativity simultaneously. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, followed by a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy, allowing me to explore both artistic mastery and effective teaching approaches.
Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through challenges, breakthroughs, and moments of artistic discovery. I have learned that piano instruction requires patience, clarity, and emotional awareness. I focus on helping students understand the process of learning music, not just the outcome, so they develop confidence and independence over time.
Outside teaching, I continue studying repertoire, performance interpretation, and educational research. Teaching piano is deeply meaningful to me because I witness students grow not only as musicians but also as disciplined, expressive individuals. Supporting their musical and personal development remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Piano lessons are designed to balance technical development with expressive musical understanding. I focus on posture, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, sight-reading, and dynamic control, helping students understand how technique supports musical expression. Lessons are paced carefully so students feel supported while steadily expanding their abilities.
Beginners learn note recognition, basic rhythm patterns, hand coordination, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners develop scale fluency, chord progressions, expressive phrasing, and stylistic awareness. Advanced students focus on advanced repertoire, interpretation, performance preparation, and musical analysis. Each lesson blends exercises with repertoire to keep learning purposeful and engaging.
Piano study also nurtures patience, focus, and emotional expression. Students often gain confidence as they witness consistent progress. My goal is to help learners experience the piano as both a disciplined practice and a deeply personal creative outlet.
