About Anna

Hi there! I am a recent graduate in piano performance from Methodist University and am scheduled to attend Florida State for my MM this fall. I would love to help you learn about music through piano or music theory--or both! I have studied classical piano extensively, but I also love teaching students to enjoy playing their own favorite songs and improvising as well! I have been teaching for over 5 years and enjoy leading piano students of all ages to meet their music goals. :)

About the lesson

I like to structure my lessons so that you become the most well-rounded musician you can be. So, I usually assign music that builds good piano technique, classical repertoire, music theory, and a piece that you pick and enjoy!

My teaching philosophy is that I will do everything I can as a teacher to give you the tools to meet your goals. I believe the best teachers impart to their students the techniques and tricks they need to know in order to teach themselves in the practice room. My goal is to meet you where you are, find out what your goals are, and lead you to that goal, giving you the tools you need to get there as you go. :)

Details

My online lesson fee is $34/hr which is $17 for a 30-minute lesson! The $40/hr is for lessons in which I am traveling so the extra $6 covers gas. :)
