About Eli
I am a piano tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching college students, dedicated to helping them become skilled, confident, and expressive musicians. My teaching style is creative, adaptive, and student-centred, designed to meet each learner’s unique goals and pace.
I incorporate innovative methods such as improvisation exercises, composition projects, blending classical and contemporary music, and interactive sight-reading activities to make lessons enjoyable and effective.
I emphasise technique, rhythm, theory, sight-reading, and performance confidence while encouraging students to explore their artistic voice.
My aim is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel inspired to learn, perform, and develop a lifelong love for piano. Every lesson is designed to be engaging, productive, and meaningful.

My approach to teaching piano is creative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I guide students to enjoy learning while developing strong musical and technical skills.
Creativity is incorporated through improvisation, creative exercises, and learning songs across different styles. Students are encouraged to express themselves and stay inspired.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I help students understand rhythm, scales, chords, technique, and musical expression in a clear and simple way. Students learn to analyse their playing and practise effectively.
Accountability is emphasised through goal setting, structured practice routines, and regular progress tracking. This helps students stay consistent, motivated, and responsible for their learning.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm skills, keyboard basics, and simple composition to strengthen overall musical growth.
