About Arthur
I have 12 years of experience teaching Piano and enjoy helping college students achieve steady improvement through personalized instruction. My lessons are designed to be practical, enjoyable, and focused on building lasting musical skills.
My teaching approach combines patience, clear communication, and structured learning. I explain each lesson in simple English and use demonstrations that help students understand concepts quickly and confidently.
I use innovative teaching techniques such as digital learning resources, rhythm exercises, ear training, interactive keyboard practice, and creative music activities. These methods keep students interested while improving their technical ability.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and expressive performance. I provide regular encouragement, detailed feedback, and effective practice plans that support continuous progress.

My teaching methodology focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous growth. I believe learning piano should help students become technically skilled while encouraging imagination and musical expression. Lessons are personalized to meet each student's needs and long-term goals.
Students first build a strong musical foundation through posture, hand position, finger coordination, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As they improve, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, expressive performance, and sight reading.
I teach through demonstrations, guided exercises, listening practice, and regular revision. Students receive positive feedback that motivates them to continue improving.
Students learn songs from different musical styles while improving creativity through improvisation and accompaniment.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, sight reading, beginner composition, music appreciation, and performance preparation.
My mission is to help students become skilled pianists with confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
