About Livia
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and have spent the last 7 years helping students build meaningful musical skills. My love for piano began through years of study, performance experiences, and collaborative music-making opportunities. Teaching became a natural extension of that passion because I enjoy supporting learners as they develop confidence and ability. Watching students progress continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I believe every student learns differently, so lessons are adapted to individual strengths, challenges, and goals. Technical instruction is always connected to musical expression, helping students understand the purpose behind their practice. Learners receive clear guidance and practical strategies that support long-term success. This approach helps build confidence and independence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy accompanying performers, exploring new repertoire, and studying music education techniques. These activities help me bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Seeing students achieve goals they once thought impossible is deeply satisfying. I strive to make every lesson engaging and meaningful. My goal is to help learners develop skills they can enjoy throughout their lives.

My piano lessons focus on helping students become confident and capable musicians through a balanced combination of technique, creativity, and musical understanding. Learners develop finger coordination, note-reading fluency, rhythm accuracy, chord knowledge, ear training, and expressive playing through carefully structured activities.
