About Jonah
I’m a Music Education major at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. I’ve been playing percussion for 7 years, and am extremely passionate about music and teaching. While I’ve only played piano for a few years, I’ve helped many people improve their skills and confidence in piano. I’ve had to teach many people how to play percussion, mallet/keyboard instruments, alto sax, and more, so you can trust that I know things. Although I put piano mainly, I can also teach any percussion and alto saxophone. I’m hoping to start my teaching journey while I’m gaining my degree, and am excited for this. Teaching is the main thing I want to do in the future, and music has been my passion for years. I hope to learn while teaching.

I’m a very accommodating person, as I myself am neurodivergent. I can adapt easily with your needs and concerns. I’m a very open person and love answering questions revolving music. I’m very passionate about music and love playing piano. Depending on your level of skill, we can start in different places for lessons. If you’re entirely learning piano from scratch, that’s alright! I’m good with explaining and taking it slow if needed. If you’re wanting to improve your skills or revisit piano, that works with me too! I’d love to talk with my students to see where they stand in their level of piano.
