About Wesley
With 12 years of piano teaching experience, I enjoy guiding college students toward achieving their musical goals. I believe that every lesson should be enjoyable, interactive, and focused on practical learning.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and adaptable. I explain musical concepts in simple English and create lessons that match each student's strengths and learning needs. This helps students feel confident throughout their learning journey.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital learning platforms, rhythm training, ear development, keyboard exercises, and creative music activities. These methods improve learning while making lessons enjoyable.
Students develop skills in note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, and musical expression. I provide regular encouragement and practical guidance that helps students continue progressing confidently.

My teaching methodology is focused on helping students enjoy learning piano while developing strong musical skills. Every student has different learning needs, so I begin by understanding their goals, experience, and interests. Based on this, I create lessons that are easy to follow and help students improve step by step.
I use real-life examples and simple case studies to explain musical concepts. Students learn rhythm through everyday movements, understand melody by singing familiar tunes, and explore harmony through songs they already know. This practical approach makes learning enjoyable and easier to remember.
Understanding is the center of every lesson. I encourage students to ask questions and think about the music they play. Instead of memorizing, they learn the purpose behind every exercise and technique. This builds confidence and helps them become independent learners.
Communication is very important in my classes. I explain every concept in simple English, demonstrate techniques clearly, and provide regular feedback. I also encourage students to share their challenges so we can solve them together.
Integrity is reflected in my teaching through honesty, respect, and commitment. I set realistic goals, encourage regular practice, and celebrate every improvement. Along with piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, chord progressions, improvisation, and beginner music composition. My goal is to help students enjoy music while building lifelong musical knowledge and confidence.
