About Hayden
As a Piano tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, I enjoy helping students discover the joy of playing music. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through personalized lessons that encourage confidence and continuous growth.
My teaching philosophy combines structure, flexibility, and encouragement. I adapt my teaching methods to suit every student's abilities, making learning comfortable and effective.
My lessons include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, performance preparation, and finger strengthening exercises. I focus on developing both technical skills and musical expression.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills and music reading. These complementary subjects help students become well-rounded musicians with a stronger understanding of music.
I am committed to helping students reach their goals while enjoying every lesson. Through consistent guidance and positive motivation, I help learners build confidence and a lifelong passion for music.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can learn piano successfully with clear guidance, patience, creativity, and consistent practice. I believe lessons should be interactive, encouraging, and adapted to the individual learning style of each student.
I begin by assessing the student's knowledge and goals before creating a personalized learning plan. Students first master posture, hand position, rhythm, note reading, and music theory before moving on to scales, chords, expressive techniques, sight reading, and performance skills.
Communication is central to my teaching. I encourage students to ask questions, discuss challenges openly, and participate actively during lessons. This builds confidence and creates a comfortable learning environment.
Students explore different musical genres while learning to play with proper expression and confidence. Creative exercises such as simple improvisation and accompaniment make lessons more enjoyable and help students understand music more deeply.
In addition to piano, I teach keyboard skills, music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These subjects support overall musical development.
My mission is to help students become skilled, confident, and enthusiastic musicians who enjoy learning and continue improving throughout their musical journey.
