About Harlow
My connection with piano began through childhood fascination with melodies, harmony, and expressive musical storytelling during my early musical experiences. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy. During the past 11 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds while helping them strengthen confidence and musical skill through supportive music education.
I believe music learning should feel inspiring, structured, and emotionally rewarding for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on technical clarity, patient instruction, and expressive interpretation that help students improve naturally while developing strong musical foundations. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and participate actively because confidence develops through encouragement and consistent musical practice during lessons.
Outside teaching, I enjoy arranging piano compositions, accompanying vocalists, and exploring both classical and modern repertoire through creative projects. Staying actively connected to music helps me bring fresh inspiration and artistic perspective into lessons regularly. Teaching piano is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and individuality through music. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, disciplined, and passionate musicians.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build musical fluency through structured learning, expressive playing, and consistent technical development. I teach rhythm coordination, finger independence, note reading, hand balance, dynamics, pedal control, and musical phrasing in a calm environment where learners can improve steadily at their own pace. Students learn how technical understanding supports creativity and expressive performance naturally through guided practice and musical exploration. Every lesson encourages patience, discipline, and artistic growth.
Lessons are carefully adjusted according to each learner’s experience level and musical interests. Beginners focus on posture, simple melodies, rhythm exercises, and keyboard familiarity, while advanced learners work on interpretation, improvisation, expressive phrasing, and performance preparation. I include listening activities, duet exercises, guided repetition, and rhythm training regularly because active participation strengthens confidence and musical understanding effectively. Students receive supportive guidance that helps them improve naturally without unnecessary pressure or discouragement during lessons.
I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music while building confidence steadily over time. Many learners initially struggle with coordination or performance anxiety, so I focus on gradual improvement through encouragement and realistic goals. Over time, students improve musicality, technical control, and expressive ability naturally. Piano becomes much more meaningful when learners discover creativity, emotional connection, and individuality through music.
