About Jeremiah
Sitting at the piano for 13 years has shaped my understanding of how technique translates into artistry. My education includes a Master of Music in Piano from the USC Thornton School of Music earned in 2014. These foundations support my work from a home studio in Nashville today.
Instruction covers posture and hand position, music theory, rhythm and timing, accompaniment skills, classical repertoire, jazz improvisation, and memorization techniques. Guided by your specific goals, the process begins with a diagnostic playing assessment before we set a learning plan. This method ensures that the structure of our 10 minute or longer segments remains effective and grounded in clarity.
Drawing on 5 years of teaching, I maintain a precise and disciplined environment for students across 3 time zones. Video conferencing allows us to achieve high quality interactions regardless of physical distance. These sessions prioritize steady improvement through consistent application of theory and physical technique. Expect a straightforward path that balances the rigor of conservatory training with encouraging, clear communication throughout our time together.
