About Blake
I believe every college student can become a confident piano player with patience, dedication, and the right guidance. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I design lessons that are enjoyable, practical, and easy to follow.
My teaching style is friendly and adaptable. I explain every concept in simple English, encourage active participation, and adjust lessons according to each student's learning needs and goals.
I use innovative teaching methods including digital learning tools, rhythm practice, ear training, visual demonstrations, and song-based learning. These methods make lessons engaging while helping students develop strong technical skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and expressive playing. I provide personalized feedback and regular encouragement so students continue improving with confidence.

Real-life examples make learning easier. Students understand rhythm through everyday activities, learn theory from songs they enjoy, and study practical musical situations that improve performance skills. These methods help students connect classroom learning with real music.
Understanding is the key to my teaching philosophy. I explain every topic carefully and encourage students to ask questions until they fully understand. Strong understanding leads to better confidence and better performance.
Communication is friendly, respectful, and encouraging. I give regular feedback, explain mistakes patiently, and guide students with simple practice plans.
Integrity is reflected through honesty, dedication, and fairness. I believe steady practice brings lasting success. Along with piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, chord progressions, accompaniment, and rhythm exercises.
