About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria. Music is my greatest passion and a way of life. I am a composer, pianist, and educator—someone who has always felt that music is more than just sounds. It's emotion, freedom, conversation, and a space for self-discovery. I graduated from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where I earned a Master's degree in composition and two Bachelor's degrees with distinction—in composition and rhythmics. These studies allowed me to combine creativity with teaching, giving me the knowledge to teach effectively, with heart, and understanding. For over five years, I have been teaching private piano, composition, and music theory. Until recently, I taught in Gdańsk, and now I have moved my practice to Warsaw, where I am delighted to welcome new students. I create music that combines expression, rhythmic energy, and modern sounds. My compositions have been performed at venues including the Mundus Cantat festival in Sopot, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk, and on the "Nowa Polska" program on Polish Radio Dwójka. I'm a recipient of the Gdańsk Cultural Scholarship, a KPO scholarship for culture, and a resident in Iceland. I also serve as a board member of the Youth Circle of the Polish Composers' Union, where we organize exciting concerts together. Music gives me strength, joy, and constant inspiration—and that's what I want to share with others. About the lesson

My lessons have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere—no stress, but plenty of inspiration and laughter. We chat a lot because I want to get to know you and your musical preferences. Every student is different—some dream of classical music, others of rock, metal, jazz, or film music—so I tailor each lesson individually. Right from the start, I'll ask you for a playlist of your favorite music. This allows me to better understand your taste and choose a repertoire that will truly captivate you. If we can't find the sheet music, don't worry—I'll create my own arrangement of your favorite piece so you can play it during your next class! I use a variety of materials: apps, sheet music, videos, textbooks, and my own arrangements. All to ensure learning is enjoyable, effective, and creative. We can learn piano, improvisation, composition, music theory—or simply develop your musicality in a way that brings you joy. The most important thing to me is that you leave each lesson with a smile, new knowledge, and fresh inspiration. I invite you to a lesson! You will see that music can be truly yours – close, honest and full of passion.

The current prices are promotional because I've moved and am looking for new students :D The price of in-person classes is 120 PLN per hour, while video lessons are 110 PLN per hour. Lessons with home visits are available for an additional 20 PLN. Packages can be purchased at a lower price: In-person classes: – 5 hours: 575 PLN – 10 hours: 1100 PLN Video lessons: – 5 hours: 525 PLN – 10 hours: 1000 PLN Lessons shorter or longer than 60 minutes are also possible – in such cases, the price is determined proportionally to the duration of the lesson. The price includes teaching materials, analysis of recordings and compositions previously submitted by the student, so we can discuss their interpretation and further development in detail during the lesson.
