About Tivona
I am a 19-year-old first-year Biomedical sciences student, but I have invested 16 years in western classical piano, and 7 years in the double bass with the Symphony Orchestra of India's Music Academy. I have been working as a professional musician (double bass) for the past few years with the Symphony Orchestra of India, and have played over 40 concerts (orchestral, solo double bass, and solo piano).
I was the recipient of the Blanche Viegas Award for excellence in music in 2012, and the Charles Vellu Trophy for excellence in music in 2023.
I have scored distinctions in all my musical examinations, including a perfect score!

The lessons will be one hour each and will cover both practical skills and musical theory in a fun way, and one lesson a month will be about musical history/fun facts about composers. These lessons are for people of all ages, as it is never too late to learn how to play an instrument. The progression of lessons will be similar to those of conservatories and will be taught in English. ABRSM or Trinity Guild examination pieces can also be taught on request.
