About Aashi
I hold an M.Mus in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy and have 12 years of teaching experience with students of all ages and levels. My teaching combines technical rigor, musical insight, and personalized instruction, helping learners develop strong technique, expressive artistry, and a love for music. Over the years, I have guided beginners to advanced performers, supporting both skill acquisition and creative growth. My lessons emphasize structured practice, musical theory integration, repertoire development, and performance preparation. I create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel comfortable exploring, making mistakes, and discovering their unique musical voice. I prioritize clear guidance, encouragement, and fostering independent learning skills in every lesson. Beyond teaching, I actively perform, study repertoire, and explore diverse musical genres to bring contemporary and classical perspectives into lessons. My piano lessons combine technical training with expressive musical development, helping learners build finger strength, independence, sight-reading skills, and stylistic versatility. I incorporate exercises in scales, arpeggios, chord progressions, dynamics, phrasing, and performance techniques alongside repertoire practice suitable for the student’s level. Lessons are structured to cultivate both precision and creativity, encouraging students to develop confidence, musical interpretation, and personal expression at the keyboard.
Beginners focus on foundational skills, note reading, hand coordination, and rhythm accuracy to establish solid technical habits. Intermediate learners work on expressive phrasing, dynamic control, improvisation, and more complex repertoire, while advanced students refine advanced techniques, performance preparation, interpretation of diverse musical styles, and stage presence. Each lesson is individualized, with guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to promote meaningful, consistent growth.
Piano study enhances technical skill, artistic sensitivity, and cognitive development. Students often gain a deeper appreciation for music, improved concentration, and greater self-confidence.
