About Hannah
I am a piano tutor with 13 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Education. My passion for piano began with its ability to create harmony, rhythm, and emotional storytelling all at once. Teaching piano allows me to guide students through both technical mastery and creative discovery, helping them feel confident at the keyboard.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I help learners strengthen finger control, rhythmic stability, music reading, expressive dynamics, and performance comfort. Many students begin feeling unsure about coordination or note-reading, and I take pride in helping them grow steadily through supportive guidance. I believe piano learning should feel inspiring, not intimidating.
Outside of teaching, I stay connected to piano through ensemble work, repertoire exploration, and continued study of music pedagogy. Watching students transform into confident musicians is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to help you feel capable, expressive, and excited about your playing. Together, we will build a piano journey filled with growth, artistry, and joy.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while also enjoying creativity and expression from the very beginning. Piano is an instrument that supports both technical growth and emotional storytelling, and I guide learners step by step in a way that feels clear and motivating. Many students feel overwhelmed by coordination or reading music at first, so I create a supportive environment where progress feels steady and achievable. Each session balances structure with enjoyment.
In our lessons, we focus on finger independence, rhythm accuracy, music reading fluency, chord development, and expressive dynamics. Beginners learn simple melodies, hand coordination, and foundational rhythm training that builds confidence quickly. Intermediate students strengthen technique through scales, smoother transitions, pedal control, and duet playing for collaboration. Advanced learners refine interpretation, improvisation, performance confidence, and stylistic versatility across classical, pop, and modern repertoire. I provide consistent feedback so students grow naturally while staying inspired.
