I hold a Master of Music in Piano Performance and have 10 years of experience teaching students across ages and skill levels. My academic training focused on technical proficiency, musical interpretation, and ensemble skills, shaping a comprehensive approach to instruction. Over the years, I have helped learners gain confidence, develop technical skill, and cultivate expressive musicality. My approach nurtures creativity, independence, and personal growth while maintaining structured guidance. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and abilities, integrating technique, theory, and musical expression. I create a positive, supportive environment where learners feel encouraged to explore musical ideas, develop problem-solving skills, and experiment creatively. Mistakes are framed as opportunities for learning and growth. Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged with performance, repertoire study, and music analysis. This ensures lessons remain relevant, inspiring, and practical. Teaching piano is profoundly rewarding because I witness students develop skill, confidence, and artistic expression.
