About Maya
I hold a Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and have 10 years of experience teaching students across various ages and skill levels. My philosophy balances technical instruction with expressive exploration, creating a supportive environment where learners feel motivated to develop both skill and artistry. I emphasize building solid foundations while inspiring creative engagement with music.
Lessons are structured to meet each student’s unique needs. Beginners develop technique, notation understanding, and simple repertoire; intermediate students refine interpretation, rhythm, and ensemble skills; advanced learners explore complex repertoire, improvisation, and expressive performance. Each lesson includes practice, guidance, and performance preparation for meaningful growth.
Outside teaching, I perform regularly, study new repertoire, and engage with contemporary pedagogical techniques to enrich my lessons. Sharing my knowledge and watching students develop skill, creativity, and confidence remains the most rewarding aspect of my career.

My piano lessons are designed to cultivate both technical skill and artistic expression in learners of all levels. Lessons incorporate structured practice, improvisation, ensemble work, and performance exercises to ensure students gain both technical precision and expressive freedom. I emphasize interactive, engaging approaches that help learners connect deeply with music while building confidence and discipline.
Lessons are customized for every learner. Beginners focus on posture, finger technique, notation reading, and simple melodies to establish a strong foundation. Intermediate students refine phrasing, harmonization, sight-reading, and ensemble collaboration, while advanced learners develop complex repertoire, improvisation, and performance interpretation. Each session blends hands-on exercises, constructive feedback, and creative challenges to encourage continuous skill growth and confidence.
The goal of my piano teaching is to develop well-rounded musicians capable of both solo and ensemble performance. Students gain technical mastery, expressive ability, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Each lesson combines structure, creativity, and encouragement, empowering learners to explore music fully, perform confidently, and enjoy the process of artistic discovery.
