About Iris
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and have 10 years of teaching experience. Music has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy helping students discover their own connection to the piano. Teaching allows me to combine technical instruction with creativity and encouragement.
My approach focuses on collaboration, rhythm, and practical musicianship. I enjoy helping students participate in duets, group performances, and community events where they can apply their skills confidently. Every learner receives personalized support that matches their pace and goals.
Outside lessons, I enjoy performing, arranging music, and exploring different musical styles. These experiences help keep my teaching fresh and engaging. I love seeing students develop confidence, musical understanding, and genuine enjoyment through piano study.

My piano lessons are designed to help students become comfortable and expressive musicians from the very first lesson. We work on finger independence, reading fluency, rhythm training, coordination, sight reading, and duet playing through engaging activities. I believe students learn best when they actively make music rather than simply repeat exercises. Lessons are structured but enjoyable.
Students who enjoy modern songs, collaborative playing, or community music receive guidance tailored to their goals. I use practical exercises, rhythmic games, listening activities, and performance preparation techniques to develop confidence. Every lesson encourages steady growth while making learning feel natural and rewarding.
As skills improve, students develop stronger musical awareness and greater confidence at the keyboard. My lessons focus on both technique and enjoyment so learners can express themselves freely. I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel motivated to continue growing as musicians.
