About Janet
"Intermediate learners often find that their fingers dance across the keys but lack the essential depth of tone. The air in my studio vibrates with the resonance of Ravel and Debussy, where every note finds its rightful color.
I have 13 years of teaching experience under my belt. My work focuses on rhythm and timing, sight reading, and chord voicing.
I have guided 192 students through the intricacies of music theory and memorization techniques. Whether you are returning to the instrument or honing your accompaniment skills, I prioritize your technical growth. I create custom sheet music arrangements for the songs you choose because standard versions rarely capture your unique musicality. My MMus from the Peabody Institute allows me to explain complex sight playing and ABRSM exam preparation with clarity.
